Sunrise Elementary, Southwood Elementary and Enumclaw Middle School are currently on modified lockdown due a report from local law enforcement of a threat near campus. Law enforcement has responded. We will provide updates when possible.

WolfMart is Back for a Second Year at EMS, with one slight change.
WolfMart will be open on Thursdays, from 7:40-7:55 in the Cafeteria.
Students will be able to "purchase" items with their Red One Pack One Purpose Tickets.
Students have been earning Red Tickets by showing the EMS 3R values and being a positive voice at our school.

Need Help on homework? The Homework Help Center will be starting this Thursday, September 17th, from 2:30-3:45 in the EMS Library. Come to the library for a quiet place to work and to get help with your homework.
Please note, transporation is not available at 3:45, so students/families will need to arrange transporation home if staying after school for the Homework Help Center.

For families struggling to keep enough food in the house during weekends and school breaks, there is help available. Each Friday, hundreds of students of the Enumclaw School District receive food bags containing fresh organic fruit, entree servings, breakfasts, and snacks. Food bags are discreetly distributed at school in such a way that the students remain anonymous to classmates.
If your family could benefit from this program, contact your student’s school counselor or complete the online enrollment form.

We are excited to introduce a new head coach for fastpitch this year.
Mr. Tom Bannan is taking the head coach position and Mrs. Casey Anderson will remain as the assistant coach. Coach Bannan brings a wealth of knowledge of the game and comes to us from Federal Way. He has years of experience coaching fastpitch at various levels.
Can't wait to see you on the diamond. Don't forget to sign up on InTouch. 1st practice starts 8/31.
