EMS students visited High Point Village in Enumclaw on Thursday. They had a great time playing games and talking with residents.

Returning 7th and 8th Graders can report to the Gym from 9:00-11:00.
6th Graders, and new students to EMS, there will be an introducion at 12:30. After that, students will be broken into groups for tours of the school, locker assignments, school photos taken.
There will also be stations available to pay for ASB cards, PE Uniforms, Sports fee, Yearbooks, etc.

August is Immunization Awareness Month. Now is the time to get ready for the 25-26 School Year
In order to safeguard the school community from the spread of certain communicable diseases and in recognition that prevention is a means of combating the spread of disease, the ESD board requires a student to present evidence of having been immunized as required by 28A.210 RCW and the Washington State Board of Health 246-105 WAC.
Families in Washington can access health and immunization records online using MyIR. A parent or guardian can register and add access for family members or dependents using a simple and intuitive web interface. Access to health records is only allowed once the parent or guardian visits their health provider to authenticate the information provided to the system. This ensures that the parent or guardian is permitted access to the family’s records as required for compliance to federal law.

The district shall allow for exemptions from immunization requirements only as allowed for by RCW 28A.210.090, RCW 28A.210.090 and WAC 246-105-050.
Exclusion from School:

Happy Summer Solstice! How are you celebrating the longest period of daylight of the year?
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, became a nationally recognized holiday in 2021, but the history extends much deeper than that.
Learn more about this important American holiday and why we celebrate by visiting the US National Archives, and Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History.
Please note that the Enumclaw School District Office is closed in honor of this holiday.
We have reached the final day of the 2024 - 2025 school year. Enjoy Summer Break - we will see you back in school buildings in the Fall!
Enumclaw Middle School will be in session today from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM.
In case you have not heard, we have two teachers retiring this year: Therese Nowlin and Kim Hahn. If you see them, please wish them well as they start a new chapter.
Two other teachers are also leaving our campus. Mrs. Stair is heading to the high school to join the CTE team. Ms. Tolbert will be moving full time to Thunder Mountain to teach history. Wish them well on their new adventures.
We will miss them at EMS, but...Once a Timberwolf always a Timberwolf!

A reminder from our District Nurse: If your student has medication in the Health Room of their school, please arrange for pick up before the last day of school. All medications remaining in the Health Room after the last day of school, June 17, 2025, will be disposed of.

ESD is proud to celebrate Flag Day by reflecting on the values and history that our flag represents. As a daily practice, students and staff recite the Pledge of Allegiance, reaffirming our commitment to the principles the American flag represents:
