Patriot Day, observed each year on September 11, is a time to remember those who lost their lives in the tragic events of 2001. It is also a day to honor the courage of first responders and the resilience shown by communities across the nation.

PTSO meetings are a chance for parents, teachers, and students to connect, share ideas, and hear updates about what’s happening at school. Join us on Thursday, September 11th, from 5 to 6 PM in the EMS Library for our first meeting of the year. We’ll be going over roles, committees, and upcoming events. All families, staff, and students are welcome!

Just a reminder that today is the LAST day to order SPIRIT WEAR.

The Enumclaw School District believes that the arts play a vital role in our students’ education. From painting and music to theater and dance, the arts inspire creativity, boost academic achievement, and foster emotional growth.
We are excited to celebrate the incredible talent and dedication of our students, teachers, and staff who make the arts come alive in our classrooms every day.

For families struggling to keep enough food in the house during weekends and school breaks, there is help available. Each Friday, hundreds of students of the Enumclaw School District receive food bags containing fresh organic fruit, entree servings, breakfasts, and snacks. Food bags are discreetly distributed at school in such a way that the students remain anonymous to classmates.
If your family could benefit from this program, contact your student’s school counselor or complete the online enrollment form.
This program is brought to families of the Enumclaw School District by the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation.

September is Attendance Awareness Month
School attendance is a major factor in student academic success. At all grades, students who miss no more than nine days per school year are the most engaged and on track for graduation. In fact, by 6th grade chronic absenteeism becomes a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school.
Everyone plays a part in student attendance - families and school staff are in this together. To learn more about promoting good school attendance and how you can help, visit www.attendanceworks.org
