The month of April is School Library Month, and today is Librarian Appreciation Day! ESD libraries are more than a place to check out books - school libraries and their Library and Media educators create a welcoming environment for students to grow, learn, connect, and feel empowered. Please help show appreciation for the school librarians/media specialists and paraeducators across the district this, and every month.

EMS Lost and Found!
We have several items that have been turned into Lost and Found. Our wonderful Custodian spread them out this morning, so students will be able to see all the found items during lunch today. If you happen to see something that belongs to your student, please have them collect their lost and found item from the Cafeteria.
As a reminder, this is not a Free For All situation. Please only take what belongs to you.

The last 2 days of Learning Lounge for the 3rd Quarter are this week; Tuesday and Wednesday!!
As long as students have a way home, they can just drop-in, no sign-up required!

PTSO is selling Dirty Sodas on Friday, during both lunches.

EMS 7th Graders are doing fundraisers to raise money for the Sudan Relief Fund. This week is a Tattoo the Teacher Fundraiser. During Lunches in the cafeteria, students may purchases temporary tattoos for teacher to wear on April 2nd. The prices vary between $1.00 and $8.00, depending on the size and location. All funds will be going to the Sudan Relief Fund to help support the families and children in Sudan with food, shelter and water.

This is a great opportunity to connect with Community Agencies, College Representatives, legal resources, transit options and specialezed groups.
Greeting cards, made by students, will be on sale for $3.00 (cash or check only)
